My Story

The Journey of Building My Ultimate Dream Car

About Me

Welcome to my car building website! My name is Dave, and I am excited to share my passion for cars and the journey of building my dream machine with you.  You can learn more about me, and my car by checking out the Build Thread, but here is the Reader’s Digest version.

I am a husband to my beautiful, understanding wife, and father to two great kids.  Theyre both a little young now to help with the project, but I hope that they get involved in their own way over time.

Ever since I can remember, cars have captivated me. As a child, I spent countless hours playing with toy cars, imagining the exhilarating sensation of speed and the freedom of the open road. As I grew older, my fascination with cars evolved into a deeper appreciation for their design, engineering, and the sheer artistry involved in building them. I have always dreamed of creating my own car, a unique expression of my vision and passion.

Despite having little mechanical knowledge, my love for cars has driven me to take on this challenging and rewarding adventure. I have always admired the sleek designs, powerful engines, and the sense of freedom that comes with driving a beautifully crafted machine. While I may not have extensive experience under the hood, my enthusiasm and determination are my greatest assets.

This journey is about more than just building a car; it’s about learning, growing, and sharing my experiences with fellow car enthusiasts and novices alike. I am eager to document every step of the process, from the initial research and planning to the hands-on work and inevitable troubleshooting.

Join me as I navigate the world of car building, embrace the challenges, celebrate the successes, and ultimately bring my dream car to life. Together, we’ll explore the art and science of automotive creation and hopefully inspire others to pursue their own automotive dreams.
