Anyone who has ever been interested in a Factory Five Roadster has undoubtedly poured over the options available to build their own kit. What would this look like if I did a donor build? What about if I had a $35,000 427? 3-Link or IRS? It’s equal parts enjoyable and head scratching, and at times bordering on paralysis by analysis.
Wanting to capture my journey into the “built not bought” world of ownership, I thought it would be interesting to share my options list for my upcoming build for no other reason than to look back and see what changes and what remains in the end.
